Emmanuel is at the corner of Princeton and Garford in Elyria. Princeton runs parallel to and is four blocks south of E. Broad Street (which is the main E-W street through the center of Elyria). Garford is between Park and Prospect Streets two blocks east of EMH Hospital.
Travel through Elyria is difficult because many roads twist around the several branches of the Black River.
From the East: Head to the intersection of Highway 57 and E. Broad Street on the eastern edge of the city of Elyria. From there go east on E. Broad towards the center of town. Turn left on Garford which is just past the fire station. If you miss Garford and see the hospital, you have gone too far.
From the North or far West: Get to the intersection of Highway 113 (also 57 at this point) and Gulf Road (by Elyria Catholic High School). Take Gulf Road south towards the center of town. Right after the railroad bridge turn left and go up the hill. Go straight through the intersection to E. Broad street. Turn left on E. Broad and go east two blocks to Garford. Turn right (south) on Garford. The church will be three blocks down on your right.
From the South: Head north on 301 until it merges with Middle Avenue. Go north on Middle Avenue towards the town square. Turn right on 4th Street and head east (after the bridge, 4th street is "renamed" Eastern Heights Blvd). Go four or five blocks past the bridge to Garford and turn left (north). The church will be one block ahead on your left.
From the near West: Take 4th street east (after the bridge over the east branch of the river, the street is "renamed" Eastern Heights Blvd). Go four or five blocks past the bridge to Garford and turn left (north). The church will be one block ahead on your left.
