DollMrs. Lynn Accavallo (Director/Administrator): Mrs. Accavallo has been teaching preschool classes at Emmanuel Lutheran Preschool since September 1983 and was a substitute teacher for years prior to this date. She now concentrates her full attention on directing and administrating the preschool. She attended Valparaiso University in Indiana. She has taken early childhood classes at Lorain County Community College and has had continuing education classes in Communicable Disease Management, First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse Management and Administrative Management. She is married and the mother of four children. Hers is the warm, welcoming face you see as soon as you enter the preschool area.

Mrs Bell's StarsMrs. Sandra Bell (Teacher/Administrator): Mrs. Bell has been teaching the 4 & 5 year old children in the four-day morning program and afternoon two-day program at Emmanuel Lutheran Preschool since September 1998. She is married and the mother of four children. She had a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching preschool since 1989. Her continuing education has included classes in Communicable Disease Management, First Aid, CPR and Child Abuse Prevention.

Jesus Loves MeMrs. Joan Brown (Teacher): Mrs. Joan Brown has been a frequent substitute teacher for Emmanuel Preschool since 1997. She began as a regular teacher in September 2007. She is married and has four children. She attended Ohio Wesleyan and helped develop Orange Cooperative Preschool in Orange, VA. Her continuing education include classes in Communicable Diseases, Child Abuse, First Aid and CPR. She is a member at Emmanuel, serves on the Education Ministry and has either taught or led Vacation Bible School since 1987.

Rules for Good ListeningMrs. Linda Spayd (Teacher): Mrs. Linda Spayd (pronounced SPADE) joined our preschool staff in August 2007 and will be teaching our two day classes for 4 & 5 year olds. She has worked as a preschool teacher for the past two years and also substituted as a kindergarten aide. Mrs. Spayd has a degree in Social Work from Ohio Northern University. She is married with 3 children. She and her husband are active members of First Lutheran Church in Lorain where they participate in a food distribution program, assist with a ministry of consolation, and facilitate a small home group. Mrs. Spayd has taught Sunday School and Bible School. Her continuing education has included classes in Communicable Disease Management, First Aid, CPR, and Child Abuse Prevention.
