You may terminate your membership at any time by requesting a “Letter of Transfer” to another Christian congregation or by asking for a release from membership.
Your membership can also “lapse” should you not attend worship, commune, contribute or have any participation in the life of this family of Jesus over an extended period of time of several years.
Membership is kept current by continual participation in the life of the congregation.
Technically, your membership is terminated upon your death. But then, of course, you are “transferred” to a greater congregation—the saints in heaven!
